I continue to reinvent myself with each new piece I create. Yet, it seems that so many elements in every new work remain the same.

In composing Naturaleza, my senses are engaged in all I see and feel around me. I am immersed in nature, and the merging of those feelings becomes a song. Like a song, we move from verse to chorus in an instinctive cycle that reveals the purity of our truths.

When we are born, we take in air (aliento), and when we depart, we let it go. This natural process is both ever-changing and always the same.

We must observe nature and learn from it, as we take care of one another and prepare for the future.
